Iron Man (PlayStation 3)
Iron Man, one of Marvel's most indestructible Super Heroes, is blasting onto video game platforms and the big screen next year. The epic, action-packed Marvel Studios production will be directed by John Favreau and stars Robert Downey Jr., Jeff Bridges, Terrance Howard and Gwyneth Paltrow. This third-person action game will immerse players in explosive militaristic combat from the film with loads of additional content created exclusively for the game.

After reading other people's reviews of this game, I had pretty low expectations. The first time I played it, I was horrified. I honestly couldn't believe how BAD the first level was. I mean, this is probably the reason most people never played it more than once or twice. The next level was much better, but still not great. The graphics were pretty good, but Iron Man seemed hard to control. Nevertheless, I decided to play it for an hour or so each day and see if the game would be any fun once I got past the rather steep learning curve. To my surprise, once I got the hang of it, the game was a blast. I've been playing it every day for the past couple of weeks, and now I just can't get enough of it. I would have given it a five-star rating were it not for the occasional frame rate drops that plague certain parts of the game. Furthermore, it was hard to overlook that weak first level. I mean the Mark I suit is total joke. It's just terrible. They really should have spent a little more time designing it because first impressions are pretty important, and they blew it in that area. Overall, if you're willing to spend the time to learn it, I would highly recommend this game. -- A Misunderstood Hero Game
I like the action packed gameplay and the storyline. The CG makes it even more fun to play because of the way it seems to interact and react to your gameplay style. It keeps my glued to the tv and asking for more with every mission that I go on. I would recommend this game to a lot of people that I know, without a doubt. -- Van Foster-USAF
