Based on the DreamWorks Animation 3D feature film, the Monsters vs. Aliens video game puts the fate of the planet in players¿ hands, to save the world as only a monster can! Bash, skate, and ooze as the macho half-ape, half-fish The Missing Link, the 49¿11¿ tall woman, Ginormica, and the gelatinous, indestructible, and brainless B.O.B, with the help of the monstrous 350¿ tall grub Insectosaurus. Plus, team up with the brilliant but insect-headed Dr. Cockroach, Ph.D. in co-op mode, to save the earth from the megalomaniacal alien Gallaxhar.

My 5 year old wanted this game for her ps2 I must say it is a little difficult for her once she gets to a certain level I did not realize it is rated for 10 and up. I gave it 4 stars as she really likes to play it. But it is probably more for older ages. -- Monsters vs Aliens
This game was a hit with my seven year old son. The tutorials were fine and the levels were varied enough. You play any of three monsters depending on the level. One of the better movie adaptations.
Pros: Good design, no hiccups on XP, nice tutorials
Cons: Tricky keyboard shortcuts. Has a small age window 7-12 years old, that will find it fun. Too easy after 13, too hard before 6.
Other: Graphics are nice and should be ok on a decent graphic machine. Im sure some of the negative reviews come form entry level PCs with onboard graphics. -- A great game for certain audiences
The kids enjoyed playing it the first couple of times, but now it is relegated to a dusty spot on the shelf. Unlike some of the Lego games (Batman, Indiana Jones) which they play constantly, Monsters vs Aliens is just another game. -- Not bad, but there are better games around.
